ParticipantHello Team,
Kindly assist.
My client received an ADR from OINP on January 24 and the below is an extract from the letter. Who knows where I can upload the requested documents? I have logged in to access the client’s application but there is no placeholder like the one on the APR. IRCC usually creates a placeholder for us to upload clients’s additional documents.Thank you.
Please respond as soon as possible to avoid further delays to the processing of your application. You have 5 calendar days from the date of this letter to provide the additional information and/or documentation.
Should the program not receive the requested additional information within 5 calendar days, your application will be assessed based on the information already provided.
How to respond/submit documents: You must submit your response along with any requested information and/or documentation through the OINP e-Filing Portal. If you have an authorized representative, your authorized representative must use their representative account to make the submission on your behalf.
Please log into the OINP e-Filing Portal for further details and instructions on how to submit the required information and/or documentation. The OINP e-Filing Portal is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.-

KeymasterHi Edith,
Where to Upload the Documents:
The requested documents must be uploaded through the OINP e-Filing Portal.
Unlike IRCC’s APR system (where placeholders are automatically created), OINP often does not display a specific placeholder for ADRs.
Instead, you should navigate to the specific application in the e-Filing Portal and look for an upload section or follow any instructions provided in the portal. Typically, there is a button or link to submit additional documents in response to the ADR.
Steps to Upload:Log into the OINP e-Filing Portal using the account associated with the application (or the representative account if applicable).
Access the client’s application.
Look for options to upload documents or a tab labelled for additional documents.
If no placeholder appears, follow the instructions provided in the ADR letter carefully, as it might include further clarification.
Timeline:The deadline for submission is 5 calendar days from the date the ADR was issued (January 24, in this case). This means you must upload the documents by January 29 (end of the day).
Tips to Ensure Proper Submission:Double-check the exact documents requested and ensure they are in the correct format (e.g., PDF).
Clearly label the documents when uploading (e.g., “Passport Copy,” “Proof of Funds”).
If the portal gives you an option to provide additional notes or explanations, use that space to address the ADR explicitly.
Technical Issues:If you encounter issues uploading, contact OINP directly through the contact information provided in the ADR letter or on their website. They may be able to assist or grant extensions in case of technical difficulties.
By promptly uploading the required documents through the OINP e-Filing Portal, you can ensure compliance with the ADR request and avoid potential delays or negative impacts on the application. -
